Hiplock Mechanism – Quick, Safe, and Intuitive Opening and Closing
The BM Mini Adira features the legendary hiplock mechanism, a hallmark of the brand for years and favored by professionals and EDC users alike. This sliding pivot lock design provides superior pressure resistance while minimizing the risk of accidental blade closure during use. The mechanism is dirt-resistant, sand-resistant, and moisture-proof, making it ideal for aquatic environments where other locking mechanisms may fail.
The blade can be quickly extended via a brightly colored, ambidextrous thumb post, ensuring comfortable operation for both left- and right-handed users. Even with gloves or wet hands, the thumb post allows for smooth one-handed opening and closing, while a unique tactile click ensures the blade is ready. This allows the Mini Adira to balance extreme responsiveness and safety, crucial in underwater environments.
